What does CAST do?
- Facilitate the professional and personal development of student activities personnel across the University through training, advocacy and support programs that maximize opportunities for mentoring, networking and intra-campus collaboration.
- Support the learning of students, staff members and the campus community through active programming initiatives and the creation of channels of communication that seek teamwork, provide guidance and direct solutions to issue and problems affecting student life and activities programming at Penn State.
- Actively listen to students and engage them in programs and activities that promote community life, support diversity and advocate positive change in support of Penn State purposes and principles.
- Proactively engage in planning initiatives and the development of policies and procedures that impact student activities practicies and the quality of student life at all Penn State locations.
